Registration

New for 2012, all interested competitors are now required to register online via the NEGA web site – www.negagolf.org. This new system replaces the hard copy applications and checks that had been sent to each individual state association.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to register and the policies in place for withdrawals and refunds. As always, it is your responsibility to review the Conditions and Regulations and submit all information prior to the stated entry close dates.

  1. Click here or on the "Register Online Now" link located above right
  2. Select your home golf association from the drop-down box
  3. Input your GHIN # (if you don't know your GHIN #, please contact your home state association office)
  4. Click the "Submit to Verify" button
  5. Verify your date of birth and email address (your handicap index and home club is based on the most recent handicap revision)
  6. Click the "Submit to Continue to Registration" button
  7. Select the event that you would like to register for
  8. Input your credit card information and submit for processing
  9. A confirmation email will be sent out upon each successful transaction

Competitor Note – Withdrawals/Refunds
Payment will be received (i.e. the credit card will be charged) by the NEGA at the time of registration.

Player Selection - After the close of entries, each of the New England State Associations will determine which entries it shall accept for the Championship Proper (allotted #'s, per state, are predetermined - www.negagolf.org).

Player Communication/Notification -- After entries have been selected (by each Association), an additional email will be sent to all registered applicants, stating who has been selected to compete. Any player who is not selected will be placed on a wait list (order determined by each State Association).

Wait List Refunds - After Round 1 of the Championship, any player NOT selected to compete will be refunded in FULL by the NEGA office.

Entry fee will be refunded, regardless of reason, if the NEGA is notified before the close of entries. After the close of entries, entry fee will be refunded if the tournament is full or in the event of injury or illness, and if requested in writing. No refunds will be given after the start of the tournament. Refunds will be issued, less a 20% service charge, after completion of the Championship.
